Iron Grit was born from a simple question:
Why are we putting so many chemicals on our skin every day?
For years, I bounced between store-bought soaps, balms, and shaving products - all promising something "better", "cleaner", "premium". But behind the labels was the same story: artificial ingredients, cheap fillers, and lab-built scents trying to imitate nature.
None of it felt honest.
None of it performed.
So I started over.
I went back to the basics.
A Different Path
What began as a personal fix quickly became a passion.
I wanted real products — natural, straightforward, made with ingredients people have trusted for generations. I started rendering tallow in my own kitchen, experimenting with simple formulas and learning, batch by batch, what worked.
Cleaner ingredients.
Stronger performance.
A return to old-world craftsmanship.
I made products to replace the ones I no longer trusted - first for myself, then for my family, and before long... for anyone who asked where they could get them.
That's how Iron Grit grew.
