Iron Grit was born from a simple question: Why are we putting so many chemicals on our skin every day? For years, I bounced between store-bought soaps, balms, and shaving products—all promising something "better", "cleaner", and "premium". But behind the labels was the same story: artificial ingredients, cheap fillers, and lab-built scents trying to imitate nature. None of it felt honest. None of it performed. So I started over with a focus on chemical-free skincare. I went back to the basics and began creating small batch grooming products that prioritize natural ingredients.
A Different Path
What began as a personal fix quickly became a passion for creating chemical-free skincare products. I wanted real products — natural grooming products that are straightforward and made with ingredients people have trusted for generations. I started rendering tallow in my own kitchen, experimenting with simple formulas and learning, batch by batch, what worked.

I made these small batch grooming products to replace the ones I no longer trusted - first for myself, then for my family, and before long... for anyone who asked where they could get them.
